Genre-fluid four-piece Polyphia have announced a massive extension to their Remember That You Will Die World Tour with the second leg of the tour kicking off this fall in Oklahoma City on Sept. 30. DOMi and JD Beck will join Polyphia this fall as support through Oct. 28 and midwxst will join Nov. 1-3. Tickets will be available here on Friday, March 24 at 10 AM local time.
“This fall tour is our most ambitious outing yet,” guitarist Tim Henson shares. “Everything from the setlist to the stage design, the light show, the supporting acts, the merchandise; everything has been meticulously planned and curated to bring about the absolute best show possible for our fans. It truly feels like we are growing into the band that we were destined to be.”
Polyphia released their fourth studio album Remember That You Will Die this past fall, which has been regarded as “a true original of our period and an across-the-board motherfucker. The artistic reach of the genre-bending band appears to know no boundaries, and the sophisticated manner in which they construct their material, matched with their highly charged instrumental prowess, makes for a thrilling and, at times, shattering listening experience” (Guitar World).
Along with their massively successful fourth record and forthcoming world tour, Henson recently performed live on Jimmy Kimmel Live alongside bbno$ and was featured on Wired’s tech support video series. The band were also recently nominated for several U.K.-based 2023 Heavy Music Awards including Best International Artist, Best Video for “Playing God,” and Best Album Artwork for Remember That You Will Die.
The tour will be making a stop at the Royal Oak Music theatre on Oct. 20th
