Today, multi-platinum superstar Yung Gravy serves up a brand new single entitled “White Claw” featuring global icon Shania Twain out now via Republic Records! Listen HERE. It marks his first collaboration with the country legend and might just be his most intoxicating record yet.
About “White Claw,” he commented, “I met Shania at a GRAMMYs party, and we got along super well. She invited me over for a barbecue the following day, and at one point we snuck off to the studio, and started a song idea, which became ‘White Claw’. That’s why the song has such a Sunday barbecue feel to it.”
Now, the song goes down like cool brew on a weekend afternoon. Between sunny acoustic guitar and boisterous fiddle, Gravy and Shania lean into a catchy call-and-response. Trying to settle on a mutual beverage of choice, Gravy breaks the ice, “Baby, let’s have a claw.”
It follows his recent countrified banger “Clementine.” Plus, he ignited the internet by signing a 1-day contract with the St. Louis Cardinals. St. Louis native and commentator Greg Amsinger notably broke the news on MLB Network’s MLB Tonight. Watch HERE.
As the story goes, your boy Gravy struck out (virally) after podcast host and influencer Bobbi Althoff asked him if he played for the Cardinals. So, he did what anybody in his position would do and turned to TikTok. He posted a video asking “if there are any teams out there who would be willing to have Yung Gravy,” with Cardinals as “first pick.”
Thankfully, they obliged. Check out the team’s official post HERE. View Gravy “unboxing” his contract and jersey HERE.
Next up, he returns to the road for his biggest headline jaunt yet, the “Grits & Gravy” Tour 2024 produced by Live Nation. As part of his next chapter, the enigmatic artist, entrepreneur, and phenomenon promises an evening of “All new country clappers and seasoned trap classics.” He rolls through San Diego, CA on July 3, plays major markets coast-to-coast, and wraps up this extravaganza with a massive hometown headline show in Minneapolis, MN on November 29.
