Rival Sons and Stone Temple Pilots get together for the first time ever this fall, brining their co-headlining tour to select cities. The 12-city tour will begin September 13th in Baltimore and see the two bands performing on intimate stages across the states including The Met Philadelphia, Ford Amphitheater in New York City, The Fillmore New Orleans before wrapping October 9th in San Diego. The tour will be making a stop in Detroit on September 27th at Freedom Hill. *This stop will not feature STP. Sometime in June we will find out the supporting act. The tour will include full sets from each band no doubt making it a unforgettable show fans only expect from two of the best live bands in the business. The Detroit market is the only venue STP won’t be playing at. I’ve had the pleasure in covering Rival Sons Twice and each time they rocked the Fillmore leaving the faithful wanting more. Guitarist Scott Holiday is truly one of the best in the business, Wowing the fans is in his DNA. Singer Jay Buchanan electrifies with his everywhere on stage presents no to mention in full command of the crowd. So mark your calendars for the September show. Below are links for all tour info.
