The band has been teasing the upcoming release date over the past few years. And so after a 13-year hiatus, Tool is finally ready release a new album, name unknow as of now on August 30th. During a concert in Birmingham, Alabama on Tuesday night, the band revealed the release date for their fifth studio album. The performance followed the band’s headlining slot at Welcome To Rockville festival in Jacksonville, FL on Sunday, where they debuted a pair of new songs—“Descending” and “Invincible”—marking their first new music since the 2006 release of 10,000 Days.
