Hope WaidleySinger/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Hope Waidley is a free spirited 19-year old from Detroit. In late 2018, she released the single “Closure” (and it’s remix) that collectively have over 1 million streams on Spotify through Federation Music . Today, Flood Magazine premieres the video for “Closure”. Paying homage to her Grass Lake, Michigan roots, Hope “dives deep” in the “dreamy” video. “The song ‘Closure’ was written during a very difficult time, and it became my best friend. The words came as if they were a gift, and I’d sing them over and over again—it would put me at ease.” While a college freshman, Hope released her debut EP, Hope, in 2017. Following the success of 2018s single “Closure,” she and her sister jumped into a van, trecking their way across country before eventually settling in California. Immersed in the beach life of surfing and skateboarding on the Venice boardwalk, Hope is working on new music with plans for an album release in 2019. Look for tour dates next month.
