Lindsey Stirling Captivates the Michigan Lottery Amphitheater Wednesday Night

Lindsey Stirling brought her eye-popping Duality Untamed Tour to the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre Wednesday night the first of two Michigan stops. This was my first time seeing Lindsey and I was floored with all the visuals and stage production I seen firsthand. Before Stirling took the stage, fans were treated to cinematic visuals that were shown on the massive LED screens. Short film clips from Stirling’s music career were shown, blending fan favorites with newer material it was time to tell the story.

Stirling emerges high atop the stage’s elevated riser to a roar from the crowd. Stirling opens with a staggering rendition of Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir,” I was not expecting that. Stirling captivating her fans from the get-go with her signature blend of graceful choreography and virtuosic violin playing. The setlist had the perfect blend of medleys showcasing Stirling’s creativity. One highlight was her rendition of “Sandstorm,” which Lindsey shared was the song that sparked her love of EDM. Midway through the show, she welcomed Grammy-award winning electroacoustic duo ARKAI to perform their collaboration of, “High Noon,” Stirling version of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” was fantastic as well. Stirling plays the violin with breathtaking skill, possessing her beautiful voice with her talent shinning during “Foreverglow” from her 2019 album Artemis.

It worth mentioning Lindsey performs some incredible aerial acrobatics while playing her violin sometimes even upside down. Watching her seamlessly combine virtual with breathtaking aerial artistry is astonishing everything about her shows are very well choreographed. The set ended with “Eye of the Untold Her” from her 2024 album Duality. The Duality Untamed Tour simply a concert would be selling it short. From the powerful opening notes of “Kashmir” to the soaring finale of “Eye of the Untold Her,” Lindsey Stirling is a must see believe me on this.
