Summer Carnival tour dazzles the LCA!

Gobal superstar PINK was queen of Detroit Monday and Tuesday performing live at Little Caesars Arena both shows selling out. If you ever seen Cirque du Soleil live or on tv you know you are in for a treat. PINK kicked off her set like no one else can flying around the LCA after a set of lips opened up and PINK telling the fans “Let’s get this party started.” The “Summer Carnival Tour” was live and in your face entertaining all night long. PINK wasted no time getting into her classic hits “Raise Your Glass,” “Who Knew,” and “What About Us.”

PINK was like a fourth of July firecracker and it was so entertaining and fun to see to watch and if you weren’t dancing you were in the wrong building. You needed that time of energy with the stage being quite long and pretty big taking up almost half the arena. I mean you had giant flamingo scoter’s dodging in and out on stage that was loaded with dancers. PINK told her fans she loves this building and city having taken the family to Greenfield Village the night before. PINK said in this building i can see everyone, with a loud cheer thrown back to PINK!

It was a special night indeed with PINK brining out both of her kids 13-year-old Willow performing “Cover Me in Sunshine” the crowd noise was deafening and could be heard across the Detroit River in Canada. Highlight of the night came when PINK took a breather playing piano covering Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love.” PINK also displayed her acoustic talents with hits like “Don’t Leave Me,” “Don’t Let Me Get Me,” and “I am Here.” PINK brought the powerful cords breaking out with the 4 Non Blondes with “What’s Up.” that song gave you some goosebumps for sure. The ending of the set is probably the showstopper of all showstoppers with PINK flying around the entire arena getting face to face with the folks in the upper deck. Damn, that’s the way to end the night. The tour is still going on and you MUST NOT MISS this show. Take it from me it was my first time seeing and covering PINK and i will definitely be back.

On tour with PINK and kicking things off the Dublin, Ireland band The Script delivered one magnificent 45-minute set the included hits like “Breakeven,” and “Hall of Fame.” The 9-song set had the crowd engaged and ready for takeoff. Below is my gallery from the show. Horns up America and keep rocking!
