In a first for Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor’s Big House will transform into a concert venue when it hosts country star Zach Bryan and special guest John Mayer on Sept. 27, promoters announced Wednesday.
The show will look to break the North American attendance record for concerts, set in June 2024 when George Strait packed 110,905 people into Texas A&M’s Kyle Field.
The Big House — the largest stadium in the U.S. — has a capacity of 107,601 for football games. Figuring in attendance on the field, that record should be within reach.
Tickets for the concert, which is being promoted by Los Angeles-based AEG Presents, went on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via AXS.com. Ryan Bingham and the Texas Gentlemen and Joshua Slone are also on the bill.
Tickets for this show sold out within two hours that’s about 112.000. Zach Bryan and John Mayer are headlining Michigan Stadium’s first-ever concert. Set for September 27, 2025.
