Jelly Roll – Planet Zero tour – at Pine Knob – 9-21-22

The independent Nashville, Tennessee country hip-hop star known as Jelly Roll delivered a banger of a set Wednesday night at Pine Knob. Shinedown “Planet Zero” tour had a couple of Tennesse boys on the bill. Starting the evening of was John Harvie followed by Jelly Roll.

The set included a bit of everything. This was my first time seeing Jelly Roll live and I can see why he is loved by many. During the set Jelly Roll took time to share his love for Michigan. The sold out crowd returned the love with some ear popping screams. JR also went onto to say “there is no fucking weed better than Michigan weed” I truly mean that. Joining Jelly Roll on stage was Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers, both dropping some dope lyrics. Songs included in the setlist were ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ 99 problems’ and Smells like Teen spirit’ Jelly Roll constant interaction with the crowd is one of a kind. The love and respect the fans in attendance showed was also one of a kind. Below is my gallery from that night.
