Poppy New Album Drops Friday On The 10th[/caption]Poppy is coming to Detroit and this will be one hell of a stage performance to say the least. The tour kicks off late January in San Francisco through February before heading across the pond in March. Her genre include a wide mix of Electropop, rock, synth-pop, ambient, artpop, bubblegumpop, nu metal, and kawaii metal. Poppy explains that her stage name originated as a nickname a friend used to call her. After her friend persistently introduced her as “Poppy”, the name stuck. Poppy will no doubt leave her fans in awe and sure to sell out the show at the Majestic. The american singer, songwriter, actress, fashion model, YouTuber, moved to Los Angeles in 2013 where she rose to prominence while working with director and musician Titanic Sinclair who helped her enhance her YouTube presence by making short performance art videos and music videos. In 2015, she signed a recording contract with Island Records, subsequently releasing her debut extended play, Bubblebath, as That Poppy. Poppy has signed to Sumerian Records and will release her third studio album I Disagree on January 10, 2020. Detroit get your tickets soon and don’t miss out this one.
