The end is near for mighty trash metal gods Slayer, continuing their Final World Tour and it’s kicking off in May and hitting several dates across the U.S. including a stop at DTE Energy Music Theater on May 19th. The Pine Knob faithful will be thrashing with the metal gods as they did back in the summer of 2018 at Freedom Hill. I covered the Slayer tour that summer and it was electric from start to finish, I can’t imagine it won’t be the same. The band will be performing 16 shows across the Southern states and then up the east coast. Lamb of God, Amon Amarth and Cannibal Corpse will support Slayer on all dates. Slayer has been selling out world wide and putting on world class show’s for nearly 38 years. Slayer is continuing their goal to “play as many places as possible to make it easier for everyone to see the band one last time,” so you might not want to miss this show. The 16 shows will be kicking off May 2, 2019 at the Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix AZ and winding down at the end of the month at the Xfinity Center Amphitheatre in Mansfield, MA on May 25. The metal gods have no doubt earned their spot in the rock and roll hall of fame one day. I provided some links below. “Enjoy the Show”
