Whitesnake cancels 2020 tour – “No voice No show”

Rock legend David Coverdale announced the band has cancelled the entire upcoming 2020 tour. Coverdale said that it hurt’s to sing is having bilateral hernia surgery. Saddened by the news, Coverdale offered his apologies “for this unforeseen personal health issue, which I will have addressed at the first possible opportunity. “Until then, I send my love to you & yours & hopefully we will meet again along the road.”

Whitesnake had big tour plans for 2020. On Jan. 27, it was announced that Sammy Hagar & The Circle, along with Night Ranger on the 30 city tour. The tour was scheduled to make a stop at DTE Energy Music Theater on August 11th. We wish all the best for David on his road to recovery. Whitesnake’s latest studio album, Flesh & Blood, was released in 2019. Just a FYI to all of the WS follwers a limited-edition, two-LP, red-vinyl version of the band’s 1984 album, Slide It In, featuring a 35th anniversary remix of the record, will be released on April 10. The recent remix of the album first appeared on a deluxe 35th anniversary Slide It In reissue that came out in 2019.
