Yellowcard Brings The Heat On A Cold Night At The Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre

It was a cold crisp night in Michigan at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre but that didn’t matter. Fans with blankets double wrapped around them rocked out the night with Yellowcard with special guests New Found Glory and Plain White T’s. The night was a high-energy, nostalgic, and celebratory kind of night for fans of 2000s alt-rock. The band delivered a blend of their iconic hits — Ocean Avenue, My Friends Over You, Hey There Delilah — alongside fresh tracks from their comeback album Better Days, which recently hit No. 1 on alternative rock radio. Frontman Ryan Key described the tour as “one of the most special tours we’ve ever been a part of,” and the Detroit crowd responded with enthusiastic singalongs and a warm, familiar atmosphere.

The evening kicked off with The Plain White T’s followed by New Found Glory both band’s delivering that extra layer of heat, rock and roll heat that is. The night really felt like a homecoming for alt fans. The 24-city summer run is in full swing so get out there and see this incredible lineup in a city near you.
