That will finally take place at DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston, Michigan on Tuesday August 13th. AIC has turned out killer album after killer album over the years putting them at the top of the industry. A couple of favorites come to mind are Dirt, Jar of Flies. Rainer Fog is the bands sixth studio album and was partially recorded at Seattle’s Studio X, the same studio where the band recorded their 1995 self-titled album. The Seattle music scene has played a big part in the business for a lot of bands as AIC show’s in the song Rainer Fog, which they pay tribute to Seattle. The name came from Mount Rainer, Cantrell mentions overlooking the mountain view.
Tickets for the 30 city tour went on sale March, 1st for the Detroit show at DTE. This show will definitely sellout fast. The co-headlining tour will be one of the most anticipated show’s of the year at DTE. Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney, Mike Inez, and William Dulvall one of the most successful bands of the 90’s will definitely feel the love from their fans when they take to the stage. AIC as amassed over 30 million albums sold and counting along with some Grammy nods. Last time AIC played in Michigan was in 2016 with G/R tour at Ford Field.
