Captain BeyondWhen you think of the 70’s and everything that happened in that era the music scene stood out for sure. Rock and Rollwas in full swing. One of the heaviest in rock and roll the was CaptainBeyond. They were amongst the heaviest of the heavy when it came to their music during that era. The band formed in Los Angeles in 1971 by drummer Bobby Caldwell, the British/American quartet was among the first “super-groups” of that era. The band, featured several lineup changes, before calling it quits in 1978. Fast forward to 2019, Bobby Caldwell has put together an amazing new lineup that is carrying on the band’s great legacy and is now back on the road touring. One of their stops is On April 13th at The Token Lounge in Westland, Michigan. No doubt the west siders and rockers from all around will pack the Token.
