R&B singer songwriter Kehlani brought her “Blue water road trip” to Detroit Monday night, playing the historic Fox theater. The very well-choreographed set had a bit of everything. Before taking the stage, behind the Fox curtain a visual appeared with Kehlani and her baby daughter Adeya showing the two traveling, Kehlani writing music and her daughter playing. The mother daughter connecting was welcomed by those in attendance with a very nice ovation. Kehlani voice was absolutely amazing, and so were the dresses Kehlani wore. Kehlani’s last tour was five years ago and it was great to see the Grammy-nominated singer back and having fun. The mixed crowd brought out the cell phone camera lights, with hands swaying back and forth. Dancing could be seen from top to bottom with everyone singing on point with Kehlani. The tour is still young, and you should check it out in a city near you, you will not be disappointed.
