The band Ministry is set to kickoff a 25 date summer tour celebrating the 30th Anniversary of “The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste” starting in Seattle on July 1st. The metal band will be making a stop in Michigan on July 10th at the Royal Oak Music Theater. Ticket info for the event will be posted below. The Industrial Strength Tour comes after a memorable 2019 for Ministry who joined Slayer on the thrash metal band’s final dates of its Farewell World Tour. Al Jourgensen, who remains the only constant member formed the band back in 1981 and considered to be the pioneer of industrial music. Ministry gained success in the late 1980s and early 1990s with three of their studio albums: The Land of Rape and Honey (1988), The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste (1989), and Psalm 69 (1992). July is already a big time month here in Michigan for concert goers this year now throw this show into the mix. The band also released a kick ass book of art, never before seen photos and more.
